Qualifications

Job Scope:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced BIM Modeller to join our client’s dynamic team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will produce technical drawings and design documents, take initiative in self-development, and knowledge sharing.

• Oversee BIM project coordination and report progress to management.
• Implement applications, streamline design processes, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Ensure accurate asset information in BIM models for hand-over submissions.
• Assist project teams with BIM applications, perform clash detection, and support coordination meetings.
• Collaborate closely with clients and other professionals to ensure project alignment.
• Create training materials and standards manuals for BIM practices.
• Produce and update technical drawings based on project specifications, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
• Maintain and update design documentation, supporting the preparation of reports and project presentations.
• Assist project teams in completing BIM models and tasks as specified.
• Ensure timely preparation and issuance of drawings to meet project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with engineering teams regarding drawing production and requirements.
• Update and manage the BIM library, ensuring high-quality standards for completed drawings.
• Check completed drawings for quality before submission and carry out additional duties as directed by project engineers.
• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues in other departments to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in CAD drawing for E&M / BS projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Fuzor, ArchiCAD, and BIM360.
• Experience in 5D BIM is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Working hours: 9 am - 6 pm, 5 days a week.
