About the job:

• Leadership and management of Revit/BIM models across all sectors, including assisting with client presentations, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Library and content creation, development, and management, aligned with industry standards such as AEC and BIMstore UK.
• Development and adherence to the use of parametric properties and intelligent families within Revit MEP.
• Auditing 2D CAD drawings and 3D models.
• Planning and leading collaboration with internal and external design teams.
• Creating and managing AutoCAD and Revit templates for different project sectors.
• Maintaining high standards for visual quality and presentation of drawings.
• Producing high-quality rendered images and animations from 3D models.
• Representing company BIM capabilities in client interviews and project meetings.
• Sharing knowledge and training staff on standards, systems, and software updates.
• Staying updated with latest BIM developments through industry resources and conferences.
• Participating in BIM, CAD, and Revit user groups and industry events.
• Enhancing the company's BIM profile within the industry.
• Supporting and motivating team members, ensuring model accuracy, and liaising with clients for model modifications.
• Modelling MEP systems across sectors, developing schematic and detailed models, and coordinating with consultants and engineers.
• Leading BIM workshops and ensuring compliance with QA procedures.
• Responding to workload changes, guiding team actions, and promoting innovative sustainable design approaches.

Qualifications:

• BSc/BEng, BTEC National Dip in Construction, or equivalent in engineering (desirable).
• Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Revit MEP Fundamentals, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit Architecture (desirable).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, including project setup, parametric libraries, and intelligent systems.
• At least five years of Revit project experience preferred.
• Membership in professional bodies like CIBSE or Society of Digital Engineering is preferred.
• Experience working in a global business environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360; basic skills in Revit Architecture and Structure.
• Proven track record in live project delivery, BIM management, and creating BIM execution plans.
• Understanding of BIM360, Revit server, and coordination within a contractor’s environment.
• Knowledge of MEP installation requirements, health and safety legislation, and basic scripting skills (desirable).
