Job description

We are looking for a BIM Manager to join on a contract basis for a greenfield Data Centre project located near Shah Alam, Malaysia.

About The Client & Project:

• Well-established international project management consultancy.
• Managing the delivery of a major new-build data centre project just outside Shah Alam.
• Known for delivering high quality builds across commercial and mission-critical environments.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach to projects.
• Strong relationships with top-tier developers and contractors throughout the region.

The Role:

• Oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and systems.
• Ensure BIM standards are maintained across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific BIM execution plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and engineering teams to ensure BIM integration.
• Manage the creation, maintenance, and distribution of BIM models and related documentation.
• Ensure BIM processes align with project specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models and processes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide training and support to project staff on BIM tools and procedures.
• Prepare and present BIM progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM management, with specific experience in data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, tools, and best practices.
• Proven experience working on fast-paced, high-specification projects.
• Ability to manage BIM teams and interface confidently with consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Available to start on short notice or within the next 4–6 weeks.
