Job summary

A construction technology company in Selangor is seeking a BIM Coordinator with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience and proficiency in BIM software like Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. Responsibilities include developing project relationships, supervising safety compliance, and maintaining BIM models. The role is contract-based for 12 months, offering a dynamic work environment with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working experience in the related BIM field.
• BIM Modelling certification preferred.
• Experience in creating and maintaining BIM LOD 300 to LOD 500.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Supervise workers to ensure that they are following all safety rules and regulations during construction
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all BIM elements are properly implemented on the job site
• Create models of building designs using computer software to ensure that they meet industry standards and regulations
• Review construction drawings to ensure that they have been properly prepared according to industry standards
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute projects
• Maintain databases of construction drawings and other documents such as permits, licenses, and certifications held by contractors and subcontractors
• Prepare contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to construction projects
• Work with architects to design buildings, facilities, and other structures
• Construct BIM model and prepare architectural, structural or M&E shop drawings for submission to the authorities and for construction using BIM software & Telka.
• Update BIM model according to latest information provided and ensure accuracy of shop drawings.
• Monitor and inform Project Design Team on clashes.
• Monitor and ensure drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Manage process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with consultants, client and stakeholders.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering

Knowledge in MEP will be an advantage.

At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field.

BIM Modelling certification will be added advantage.

Proficient in BIM related software, e.g. Autodesk Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD.

Have experience creating and maintaining BIM LOD 300 until LOD 500.
