Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a BIM Engineer in Malaysia to coordinate BIM models across disciplines with a focus on MEP services. You will manage clash detection using Navisworks and lead coordination reviews with consultants, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring outputs comply with project BIM standards, BEP, and collaborating closely with design engineers, site teams, and stakeholders to resolve design and constructability issues. Proficiency in Revit is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with BIM focus is preferred.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum 2 years design experience in Electrical Engineering with BIM.
• Hands-on experience using Revit for MEP modelling.
• Knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and BEP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating BIM models across disciplines with a focus on MEP.
• Performing clash detection using Navisworks and leading reviews.
• Facilitating BIM and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensuring outputs comply with BIM standards and BEP.
• Collaborating with design engineers and site teams to resolve issues.
• Modelling Mechanical or Electrical services using Revit.
• Producing coordinated BIM drawings for MEP services.
