About the role

V Critical Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented BIM Drafter to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time BIM Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of complex engineering projects, utilising cutting-edge Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology.

What you'll be doing

Develop detailed 3D BIM models and drawings for a variety of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure the seamless integration of BIM data into the overall project workflow

Conduct regular model reviews and coordinate with stakeholders to identify clashes and resolve issues

Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating changes and revisions as necessary

Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of BIM software and best practices

Using BIM as standard tools to identify materials procurements and collaborate with project engineers on installation work

To provide shop drawings, tender drawings and as built drawings

To assist on document compilations of as built drawings, O&M and training documents.

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM Drafting, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows

Proficiency in using BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, and the ability to create high-quality, detailed models

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Familiarity with engineering design principles, construction methods, and industry standards

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
