Our Client:

Our Client is one of the world's leading logistics providers and has a significant presence in Malaysia, specializing in providing integrated logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, and contract logistics. Our client is looking for an experienced Billing Clerk to be part of the team. The candidate must be equipped with knowledge of billing procedures and great attention to detail. Their analytical ability is an asset, while their communication skills can make a difference for customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with finance and sales professionals to maintain accounts receivable.
  2. Compile and process information such as prices, discounts, shipping rates, etc.
  3. Ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered.
  4. Issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail.
  5. Communicate with customers to answer questions.
  6. Resolve disagreements between the company and its creditors.
  7. Request payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate manner.
  8. Negotiate payment arrangements when needed.
  9. Keep accurate records (customer information, received payments, etc.).
  10. Prepare and submit statements.

Requirement:

  1. Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  2. Minimum two (2) years work experience in the logistics financial field or transportation industry.
  3. Knowledge of SAP/warehouse system would be an advantage.
  4. Service oriented with good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
