We are looking for a seasoned Big Data Developer (L3) with over 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise across the Hadoop ecosystem, backend scripting, and advanced SQL development, with exposure to Spark and functional knowledge of banking or AML domains.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Architect and manage large-scale distributed data processing systems using Hadoop components such as HDFS, Hive, and MapReduce.

Lead development of robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines from various data sources to Hadoop-based data lakes.

Develop automation scripts using Shell scripting to orchestrate data workflows and system operations.

Design, optimize, and maintain Oracle SQL procedures, functions, and complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Oversee deployments applications hosted on JBOSS application servers. Leverage Apache Spark for in-memory processing and data analytics, enhancing performance for large-scale datasets.

Apply functional domain expertise, particularly in AML or banking projects, to deliver compliant and business-aligned solutions.

Mentor junior developers, lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices across projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, architecture decisions, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Troubleshoot critical issues in production and recommend long-term fixes and system improvements.
