Bids & Business Development Manager – Bristol

Based in either Birmingham or Bristol, this role requires expertise in bid development and business development strategies. You will be a key player in driving the firm’s growth by managing the entire bidding pipeline and improving internal bidding processes. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Board and partners to understand client needs and provide guidance on bid scoring.
  • Maintain an organized process to manage bids efficiently.
  • Develop winning strategies for each bid, considering commercial aspects.
  • Work with stakeholders to create profitable, tailored proposals aligned with client needs and bid strategies.
  • Draft initial documents with strategic responses aligned to tender criteria.
  • Manage the bids pipeline and conduct bid workshops to enhance success rates.
  • Identify and implement best practices for bid processes and manage projects to improve them.
  • Support the Senior Bids and BD Manager with business operations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in managing bids and supporting business development, preferably in professional services.
  • Strong strategic and commercial awareness, with industry and competitor knowledge.
  • Knowledge of pitch presentation skills and best practices.
  • Experience in coaching or managing team members.
