As a Bid Manager in the Service Revamp Business, your day involves discerning and addressing technical concerns, developing technical solutions, and accurately estimating costs for design implementation. You generate detailed technical/commercial sales proposals and, most importantly, effectively communicate all the above to bridge the gap between operations, marketing, sales, contractors, and ultimately our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Prepare and develop technical and commercial bids and proposals for compressor trains Service Modernization & Upgrades, including conducting and leading technical and commercial contract negotiations with customers.
Provide consultancy services for oil & gas customers (EPCs, end users) and support regional entities in service solutions.
Perform front-end technical evaluations, basic calculations, and conduct preliminary design/proposal review meetings to mitigate technical risks on revamp/upgrade opportunities.
Review client data to evaluate existing machinery reliability and concerns, perform technical data integrity checks, and develop aerodynamic and mechanical revamp/upgrade options to address client needs/concerns.
Develop cost models for proposed solutions, including hardware, labor, engineering, buy-out, risk, travel, and commercial instrument costs, and present technical/commercial proposals to customers.
Facilitate order entry, commercial review of Client Purchase Agreement, and support Project Kick-Off Meetings.
What You Bring
Proven Expertise in Compressor Technology: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in compressor technology, supported by a relevant educational background.
Foundational Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge in compressor thermodynamic performance, rotordynamics, strength of materials, materials of construction selection, machinery design, and compressor aerodynamic design.
Technical and Commercial Proposal Writing: Demonstrated experience in crafting detailed and compelling technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment with client requirements.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Professionalism and Collaboration: Possess a high degree of tact and professionalism, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with enthusiasm and intensity.
