Job Description

As a BI & Data Engineer, you will be:

1. Providing technical expertise in database/data system development and data infrastructure setup.
2. Collecting and consolidating data from various sources and organizing it into usable formats.
3. Using statistical tools to derive meaningful insights from raw business data and analyzing data to answer specific questions.
4. Assessing data quality and cleansing corrupted data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
5. Creating data visualizations and reports for stakeholders to understand business facts and trends, aiding better decision-making.
6. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify process improvements, propose system modifications, and develop data governance strategies.
7. Documenting data analysis processes to facilitate understanding and adoption of data techniques across teams.
8. Building collaborative relationships with departments to understand data needs, propose solutions, and promote team values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience as a data/BI analyst or in a related field, with hands-on experience in data warehouse development.
• Proven skills in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Data Model, DAX, and Visual Reporting.
• Proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, and common ELT/ETL tools.
• Good knowledge of relational database management systems and SQL.
• Over 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with knowledge of electronics components, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with Product BOM, PLM, and ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience in Engineering Documentation & Control is desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Dataverse, Lists, Teams, etc., is desirable.
• Attention to detail with high standards for quality and timely delivery.
