Bellman

The Bellman is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, assisting with their luggage, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable check-in experience. This role involves delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized lobby, and providing information about the hotel and local attractions. The ideal candidate will be hospitable, efficient, and possess great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanor.
2. Assist guests with their luggage, including transporting to and from guest rooms and vehicles.
3. Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
4. Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
5. Assist with valet and parking services as needed.
6. Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel policies and procedures, as well as local points of interest.
7. Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
8. Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
9. Assist in delivering messages, packages, and mail to guests as requested.
10. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs).
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
7. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Must have an active driving license.
