RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Instrument Selection and Sizing calculations
• Develop Instrument Design Basis/Philosophy
• Prepare instrument specifications, datasheets, IO lists, and indexes
• Use software such as SPI (INtools) and Aveva Instrumentation
• Assist procurement for field instruments, safety & control valves, packaged equipment (power generation, compressors, etc.)

• Conduct engineering within project timelines, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and third-party consultants to review documents and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure proper selection, installation, and configuration of instruments for optimal operation and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Automation, or Instrumentation Technology
• Minimum 5 years relevant offshore Oil & Gas industry experience, specifically in Controls and Instrumentation design for offshore facilities like Fixed Process Platforms and FPSOs
• Strong knowledge of field instruments and control/shutdown systems, with experience in selecting and specifying instruments such as flowmeters, level instruments, control valves, shutdown valves, safety valves, and analyzers
• Familiarity with international codes & standards, including offshore regulations
• Effective team player with good communication skills, capable of working with multinational clients
