Job description

Uncle Don's is a progressive chain of restaurants & bars specializing in affordable, quality dining experiences, along with diversified businesses in the food & beverage and hospitality industry.

We are seeking versatile individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Kitchen Staff Responsibilities
  • Handle cutting chicken, pork, meat, and vegetables.
  • Prepare butchery items, marinate spices, seasonings, and sauces according to SOP recipes.
  • Prepare and cook hot kitchen items.
  • Package and label all semi-finished and finished goods.
  • Receive and store foods in designated storage areas.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and manage waste disposal.
  • Update and organize stock levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the production line, storage areas, and kitchen.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Floor Staff Responsibilities

Provide excellent table service, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the dining area.

  • Customer Service & Order Taking: Greet and seat customers, present menus, explain specials, take orders, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar.
  • Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks promptly, ensure proper presentation, check on customers, clear and reset tables.
  • Table Maintenance & Upkeep: Set up dining areas, maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist with general cleaning duties.
Bartender Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, manage the bar area, and provide excellent customer service.

  • Prepare drinks accurately, explain menu items, make recommendations, and ensure proper garnishes and presentation.
Requirements
  • Preferably 1 year of kitchen experience.
  • Able to start in July or with a short notice period.
  • Willing to work at Bukit Jelutong outlet.
  • Work 6 days a week.
  • Fluent in Malay and English.
  • Preferred locations: Kepong, Sri Petaling, and Ipoh.
  • Able to work in a non-halal environment.
  • Meals provided, EPF/SOCSO included.
