Key Responsibilities :

  • The Bartender at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat serves as a professional mixologist expert, supporting the Food & Beverages Department in ensuring the seamless operations and administration of its functions.
  • Provide a comprehensive luxury mixology experience, delivering exceptional bartending services and maintaining professional guest relations across all departmental outlets, while adhering to established legal and operational standards.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including beverage preparation, stock management, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, ensuring efficient operations in line with resort standards. Deliver high-end guest relations across all outlets, ensuring seamless service and exceptional experiences. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects luxury mixology services, while maintaining professional guest relations and ensuring strict adherence to established legal and operational standards.
  • Execute comprehensive administration for the department such as food and beverage pairing, menu creation, research and development, sales and marketing strategies, hygiene and maintenance inspection, decoration and setting, emergency response, and more.
  • Responsible for executing professional and ethical communication in every platform for the department outlets.
  • Possess abilities in maintaining professional and ethical relationships between stakeholders, employer, employee, and third parties.
  • Handle the department’s financial aspects such as asset inventories, store and receiving processes, point-of-sales transactions, revenue reports, procurements, and more.
  • Adapt to modernization of systems and workflows according to industry revolutions.
  • Perform professional and harmonious working relationships with stakeholders, employers, employees, and third parties.
  • Strictly adhere to Occupational, Safety, and Health regulations as mandated by authorities and company policies while performing duties.
  • Comply with rules, regulations, and policies set by the company, including grooming standards, conduct guidelines, and misconduct policies.
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management, ensuring they are executed efficiently, to the highest standards, and without failure.

Position Requirements :

  • Work 5 days a week with shift schedules.
  • Certificate, Diploma, Degree (or higher) in Bar Mixology, Bartending, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications such as Customer Service are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Bartender.
  • Experience in luxury hotels or resorts preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools, publishing software, and related technologies.
  • Maintain and update skills, knowledge, and certifications according to applicable standards and laws.
