Job summary

GFSM (SARAWAK) SDN BHD in Kuching, Sarawak is looking for a friendly, reliable and creative team member to handle daily café operations and manage our social media and promotions.

Full-time, Monday–Friday; working hours may vary according to assigned shifts. Weekends and public holidays off. EPF, SOCSO and EIS contributions are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of café/barista experience and practical coffee-making skills.
• Can communicate comfortably in English.
• Friendly, punctual, responsible and able to work independently.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Meets food-handler requirements and training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
• Take customer orders and process payments.
• Complete café opening and closing duties.
• Clean work areas and equipment, and monitor and replenish stock.
• Plan, create and publish social media content regularly, and respond to customer enquiries.
• Develop café promotions and create and run online advertisements with management approval.

Around RM2,000 per month, depending on experience and competency

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of café/barista experience and practical coffee-making skills.
• Can communicate comfortably in English.

• Meets food-handler requirements: typhoid vaccination, medical fitness certificate and recognised food-handler training.
• Basic photo, video and design skills; familiarity with online promotions and advertising is an advantage.
