About the role

As the Bar Manager for 2AB Ventures Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient inventory management, and driving profitability. This full-time role is based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, and is an integral part of 2AB cocktail concept - JIE.

What you'll be doing

Manage the bar's daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling

Develop and implement bar menus, promotions, and work with marketing team to improve revenue.

Ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction by training and supervising the bar staff.

Monitor and analyze bar performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions

Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create and execute cohesive guest experiences

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages

Actively participate in inventory management, cost control, and budget planning with management team.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a bar manager (preferably in a concept or cocktail bar).

Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational and financial targets

Extensive knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, cost control, and liquor quality control.

Strong customer service and the ability to create unique guest experiences.

Proficient in using bar-specific software and point-of-sale systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Passion for the alcohol/beverage industry and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement to upskill.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
