• Prior working experience or baking knowledge is required minimum 1 year.
• Possess a strong understanding of baking techniques.
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Familiar with standard kitchen equipment (mixers, dough sheeters, blenders)
• Good understanding of food safety practices.
• Willing to work in shift
• Assist in preparations of bread and other pastries
• Responsible for opening the bakery in the morning, baking fresh loaves of bread, setting out the pastries, and preparing fresh bread, pastries and other baked goods for the following day.
• Monitoring, checking and receiving stocks for baking ingredients
• Practice good housekeeping & workplace/kitchen safety awareness
• Adhere to all food hygiene standard and procedures
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor/Manager from time to time
