Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bahasa Melayu & Islamic Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful lessons, with strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students in both academic and spiritual growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Experience in teaching Cambridge curriculum (Primary, Secondary, IGCSE) is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for education and commitment to continuous professional development.
Skills & Attributes:
In-depth knowledge of Bahasa Melayu grammar, literature, and Islamic teachings.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Capable of engaging and motivating students across various levels.
A role model who reflects the school’s ethos and values, including respect, discipline, and integrity.
