Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain REST-based services and backend systems. You will work with MS SQL Server, SOAP/REST integrations, and frontend technologies to support Ria's web and mobile applications.

The role requires 3+ years in software development, experience with Swagger documentation, and a strong foundation in object-oriented design. Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the position offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field; masters preferred.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with REST/SOAP based services and API documentation (Swagger).
• Proven SQL Server skills: stored procedures, views, functions, tables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain REST-based services.
• Write and optimize MS SQL Server stored procedures and queries.
• Build backend systems integrating with external services and support web/windows apps.
• Prepare test data and functional specifications.
• Create integrations with external services per technical documents.
