Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Process Engineer to provide engineering support for the manufacturing line, focusing on improving and maintaining equipment efficiency to enhance quality and yield. The role involves molding process optimization, data analysis, and driving improvements across OEE, UPH, MTBA and costs.

Responsibilities include budgeting, capital planning, capacity installation, and support for NPI projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for manufacturing lines to improve equipment efficiency, quality and yield.
• Perform molding equipment maintenance and improve molding processes using data extraction and statistical tools.
• Monitor and improve operational indicators such as OEE, UPH, MTBA, line yield and machine costs.
• Assist budgeting, capital planning and capacity installation activities.
• Support process development for New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive equipment improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, procedures, standards and internal controls.

Job Summary

To provide process engineering support for manufacturing line and responsible for improving and maintaining equipment efficiency which lead to quality and yield improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform molding equipment maintenance, molding process and improvements which are to be attained through practical use of statistical tool methods, data extraction and analysis.
• To conduct machine life span studies and equipment maintenance cost reduction.
• Ownership on operational indicators such as safety, machine OEE,UPH, MTBA line yield and machine defect reduction.
• Budgeting, capital planning and capacity installation.
• Support process and engineering development for NPI.
• To drive equipment improvement and efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned.
• Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, standards/codes/internal control and ensure compliance in the work area.

• Encourage workers and or to report any kind of violations relating to labor, ethics and EHS.

Qualification And Experience

• Degree in Engineering or Science
• Preferably with experience
