Job summary

Spolith Sdn Bhd is seeking a Backend Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in a cloud-enabled environment. The role emphasizes robust data modeling, secure authentication, and scalable message-driven architectures.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of backend experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, and experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, plus NoSQL familiarity (DynamoDB/MongoDB). Strong English and Mandarin communication is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core / ASP.NET Core for web APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency in C# with clean, scalable code.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, writing complex queries and designing schemas.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Authentication/authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and AWS Cognito.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS).
• Background in distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Optimize database performance and design efficient data models.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous processing and messaging systems.
• Work closely with front-end and DevOps teams to integrate backend functionalities.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability.
