Qualifications

• At least 5+ years' development experience using webMethods technologies.
• Experience in API gateway and service technologies including REST, SOAP.
• Knowledge in Swagger and Open API specification standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

You will design, develop, code and implement APIs and integration patterns based on industry and enterprise standards. Perform primary and secondary research, conduct analyses and appropriate modelling tasks that feeds directly into the development of technology-enabled solutions. Require a high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent planning, coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work with teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the administration, configuration, monitoring, support, and maintenance of API gateway and ESB.
• Responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining APIs and their communication with the down-stream systems and not limited to.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, analysts, productspecialists, and other software engineer.
• Designing, implementing, and documenting APIs for use by other systems based on requirements.
• Involved in the development life cycle and perform definition and feasibility analysis.
• Implement, integrate, and document a variety of software platforms through the APIs framework.
• Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential processimprovement areas.
• Configure and manage day-to-day operations of the enterprise API Gateway and ESB.
• Responsible for designing, implementing API solutions and building APIs that ensure security, usability, and reliability.
• Monitor API gatewayperformance and troubleshoot issues.
• Assume responsibility of other relevanttasks as assignedfrom time to time.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and addresstechnical and designrequirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Take part in develop and enhance CGC Application and API.
• Responsible to handlebackend integration via Restful, SOAP API.
• Development in Gen AI initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5+ years' development experience using webMethods technologies for middleware and backend integration.
• Those without the relevant development experience in webMethods technologies but has at least 4-5 years' development experience using Java will be considered.
• Experience in API gateway and service technologies such as, webservices, REST, SOAP, HTTP, XML, JSON, YAML.
• Experience with authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2,JWT, Open ID.
• Experience on API Management platforms like webMethods. Experience on Financial Services industry will be added advantage.
• Knowledge in Swagger and Open API specification standards.
• Experience in Java Spring boot/Hibernate
• Experience in the following protocols and standards: JDBC, SFTP, SMTP.
