Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Modernisation Azure Architect to join our Cloud & Security practice. You will help clients modernise, migrate, and optimise their infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, supporting presales, solution design, and delivery handover.

The role requires hands-on Azure infrastructure architecture, Landing Zones, networking, governance, and IaC using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft technology experience, with strong hands‑on Azure infrastructure architecture experience.
• Proven experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure networking, migration design, cloud IaaS, governance, and platform architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud migration, hybrid connectivity, identity, monitoring, and operating models.
• Experience supporting presales or solution development within a cloud systems integrator, global SI, managed services provider, or consulting environment.
• Ability to present clearly to senior client stakeholders, including technical leaders and CxO audiences.
• Strong English communication skills, either as a primary language or strong secondary language.

Responsibilities

• Design Azure infrastructure modernisation solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead Azure migration planning, including application and infrastructure assessment using the 6Rs migration approach.
• Design and advise on Azure Landing Zones, cloud networking, identity integration, governance, and platform foundations.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code approaches using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar.
• Work with DevOps, platform, network, security, and operations teams to shape practical cloud solutions.
• Support presales activities, including solution shaping, client workshops, proposal input, and solution presentations.
• Help clients understand cost, performance, governance, and FinOps considerations across Azure IaaS and platform services.
• Translate client business challenges into clear technology outcomes and practical cloud roadmaps.
