Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management professional to design, deploy and manage Azure cloud services, including VMs, storage, and networks, while implementing cost optimization and security enhancements. The role covers automation, VDI solutions, and collaboration with IT and DevOps teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Azure cloud infrastructure experience, familiarity with monitoring tools, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure Administrator are preferred.
• Experience managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networks and other resources.
• Implement and maintain VDI solutions to provide secure and scalable remote desktop services.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of Azure-based infrastructure.
• Analyse and monitor Azure usage and costs using tools like Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies, such as right-sizing resources, implementing auto-scaling and using reserved instances.
• Regularly review billing reports and ensure optimal utilization of cloud resources.
• Evaluate and improve the Azure Security Score, addressing recommendations and implementing security best practices.
• Implement encryption, secure data storage, and compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM Templates to automate cloud resource provisioning.
• Automate routine tasks, such as scaling, monitoring, and backups, to improve operational efficiency.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and application development teams to align cloud infrastructure with business objectives.
• Provide technical support for VDI environments, troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Set up and monitor Azure tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana etc., to ensure system health and performance.
• Generate regular reports on cost savings, security improvements, and VDI performance metrics.
• Provovively identfy trends and issues to optimize system operations and user experiences.
