Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an AVP (Sr Executive), User Testing (Manual) to join the Retail Operational Readiness Centre. You will coordinate user acceptance testing for retail banking apps and support end-to-end testing with documentation and defect handling.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and at least 5 years of functional testing experience in retail banking, with knowledge of banking operations. Automation testing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Preferably 5+ years of functional testing in retail banking.
• Knowledge of retail banking operations, products and services.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Practical knowledge of automation testing tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and execute user acceptance testing for retail banking applications.
• Understand user requirements, review functional specifications and plan testing to ensure adequate testing coverage.
• Manage end-to-end testing, ensuring quality, defect reporting and progress tracking.
• Support business/operation users in operational readiness, pilot run, health checks and project post-implementation.
• Analyze and provide input on production issues and customer complaints via support staff.
• Assist in developing and executing test automation scripts.
• Participate in country and group level projects as assigned.
• Identify and initiate improvements in test processes and execution.
• Ensure application parameters setup are carried out with proper control.
• Perform ad hoc assignments as assigned by department head.

Job Description

You will be part of theRetail Operational Readiness Centre that supports Retail Operations with effective implementation of Technology changes, reviewing requirements from End User perspective and ensuring effective implementation with the help of testing, training and documentation.

Responsibilities

Requirements
