Your new role

  • To focus on driving market penetration in designated areas and market segments, focusing on acquiring new customers and increasing wallet share.

  • Develop and implement a sales plan aligned with regional strategy and goals.
  • Strengthen relationships with top customers in the region and create loyalty programs to enhance customer retention.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Currently in a senior sales role, responsible for international sales development and customer experience, with extensive experience in Japan and other key markets.
  • Hands-on experience targeting multi-million-dollar B2B opportunities involving long sales processes and extended negotiations.
  • Confident in handling large accounts and strategically building and deepening customer relationships.
  • Effective communicator and presenter to C-Suite executives, with strong command of English and Japanese.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building lasting relationships with customers and partners.
  • Over 10 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 5 years with Japanese customers. Preferred experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or chemicals.
  • Highly numerate with an Honours Degree in Science or Engineering. Candidates with tertiary education or work experience in Japan or Europe are well-suited.
