Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced professional to lead Group Operational Risk within the Group Risk Management division. The role focuses on qualitative risk governance, Islamic risk management, and new product risk governance.

The successful candidate will coordinate regulatory responses, review risk policies and reports, and provide risk advisory and training across the Group. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of banking/financial industry experience in risk management.
• Knowledge of Basel/IFSB regulations governing banking operations and risk management.
• Awareness of Islamic/Shariah risk considerations is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk governance and regulatory responses as risk liaison.
• Review risk documentation, policies, and regulatory submissions for operational and Shariah risk.
• Provide risk guidance and training to business/support units and participate in risk management initiatives.
