United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a seasoned banking professional to lead the end-to-end credit evaluation for Large Corporate and Multinational portfolios. Lead the end-to-end credit evaluation process for Large Corporate and Multinational Corporate portfolios, including annual reviews, incremental facilities, and new-to-bank credit proposals, from origination through to credit approval.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and credit assessments, including the assignment and review of borrower and corporate guarantor risk ratings, to support sound credit recommendations.
Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring and due diligence to identify, assess, elevate, and manage emerging credit risks, including conducting joint client calls and site visits with Coverage teams where required.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, approved covenants, terms and conditions, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements across the portfolio.
Support and participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits, reporting requirements, surveys, and other portfolio-related reviews, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, service excellence, and client experience.
Stay abreast of market developments, industry trends, economic outlooks, and best practices to provide informed insights and support effective stakeholder engagement.
Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 6-8 years of experience in Large Corporate/MNC banking, credit assessment, or lending.
Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including Trade, Cash Management, Lending, Treasury, and Islamic Banking solutions.
Proven experience in credit analysis, financial assessment, and credit approval processes.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements and corporate credit risk management frameworks.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify risks and make sound recommendations.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
