About the Job
The role of Business Continuity Management is to ensure that all key BCM related responsibilities are well executed, monitored and maintained covering aspects of advisory, planning, training, testing and attestation exercises. This is a crucial function in ensuring continuity in all business practices with acceptable mitigation in place.
•To provide support and assistance to Company’s initiatives / practices.
•Develop or Review/enhance BCM related framework, policies and guidelines to ensure alignment with regulatory and group requirements.
•Ensure compliance with regulations
•Assist in the annual review of policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. relevant to TRM/BCM.
•Be the main point of contact for business units on BCM matters.
•To provide advisory support to all business units on BCM matters.
•Plan business continuity planning related tests with other stakeholders.
•Execute and monitor progress of all BCM programs (workbook / walkthrough exercises / connectivity, transactional, supplementary testing, attestation reporting).
•Support all risk assessment related initiatives (RCSA / CRSA / KRI / KCGI / EGRC).
•Assist in the review of risk assessments in consultation with business units on technological and/or business continuity risk matters.
•Support all BCM initiatives & projects (Disaster Recovery Planning / Joint exercises with Outsourced services / Contingency planning).
•Review DR strategies and provide advice for improvements in effectiveness
•Anticipate threats and technological changes and implement timely mitigation to minimise risks.
•Draft email communication, e-Learning content, and awareness collaterals, etc.
•Develop and conduct BCM training to coordinators and employees.
•Coach members of the team.
•Manage and maintain the alternate recovery site / equipment at high level of readiness.
•Work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the Company’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the Company’s Core Values.
•Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division.
We are looking for people who
•IT degree and/or BCM / DRP certification.
•Minimum 5 Years of experience in a BCM or related role.
•Good understanding of BCM standards, practices and relevant local regulatory requirements.
•Possesses technical skills which include Business Acumen, Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Management, Compliance, Governance, Internal Controls, Strategy etc.
•Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
•Demonstrates alignment with the Company’s core values through expected behaviours.
