About the location:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six-floor luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. The Hotel will also offer an executive lounge for business travelers, a serene spa, wellness-focused fitness centre, and rooftop infinity pool offering panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. Located in the Golden Triangle, Kuala Lumpur’s thriving business and financial district, the Hotel is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower including private residences, serviced apartments, and a luxury retail podium. It is the latest addition to the city’s skyline and a vibrant hub for both business and leisure travelers, conveniently close to major attractions like the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC, offering designer shopping, fine dining, and nightlife. The hotel overlooks KLCC Park and is directly connected to the esplanade, providing access to green spaces, gardens, fountains, waterfalls, and jogging tracks.

The hotel will feature dining outlets including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with views of the Petronas Towers. AV Technician 2 - Banquet

The AV Technician 2 is a key member of the Banquet team, dedicated to providing exceptional audio-visual service for large dinners, receptions, and events, adhering to Four Seasons standards of excellence. The role involves coordinating AV setups, anticipating guest needs, supporting events professionally, and resolving guest concerns promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guests with an enjoyable, expertly managed audio-visual experience according to Four Seasons standards.
• Efficiently execute AV setup requirements for all events.
• Anticipate and service guest requirements proactively.
• Support events unobtrusively and professionally.
• Handle and resolve guest concerns, informing management as needed.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Inspect AV equipment and ensure all is in proper working condition.
• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of AV equipment during events.
• Change ashtrays, serve cigarettes, and offer after-event drinks and cigars as appropriate.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction and handle issues appropriately, involving management when necessary.
• Service all needs for functions.
• Report accidents immediately, regardless of severity.
• Respond properly to hotel emergencies or safety situations.
• Move AV equipment as required.
• Organize event spaces and surrounding areas when needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills for guest and internal interactions.
• High knowledge of assembling, operating, maintaining, and repairing AV equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Certificate in a related discipline.
• Flexible schedule, able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia.
