Benz Garage Auto Works in Kuala Selangor is seeking a car mechanic to join our workshop. The role requires basic to intermediate skills in maintenance and repair, with potential for growth in technical competencies.

Candidates should be able to work well in a team and follow safety procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a busy garage environment. A reliable means of transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in car mechanics is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Able to identify, inspect and repair vehicle problems.
• Punctual, responsible, honest, hardworking, willing to learn and interested in further developing technical skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, while following instructions and workshop safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular vehicle servicing and maintenance, such as changing engine oil and checking brakes, batteries, tyres and related components.
• Inspect, identify and repair mechanical faults and basic vehicle electrical problems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify damaged or faulty components that need to be replaced.
• Carry out repair work and replacement of spare parts according to workshop procedures.
• Ensure that workshop equipment and the working area are always clean, organised and safe.
• Provide good customer service and explain the vehicle problems and required repair work to customers in a basic and understandable manner.
