Job summary

The Automotive Technician Intern will support the Service and Workshop Team in carrying out vehicle inspection, maintenance, servicing, and basic repair work under the supervision of qualified technicians. The internship provides practical exposure to automotive workshop operations, vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and after-sales service.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing Diploma, Certificate, SKM, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Technology, or a related field.
Students seeking industrial training/internship placement are encouraged to apply.
No prior working experience required.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians in routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Assist with vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
Support oil changes, filter replacement, brake inspection, battery checks, tyre checks, and other basic maintenance activities.
Assist technicians in diagnosing vehicle problems using appropriate tools and equipment.
Learn and assist in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
Follow workshop procedures, repair instructions, and manufacturer service standards.
