Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang, George Town is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, repairs, and quality control on a variety of vehicles. The role requires safe workshop practices and ability to use diagnostic tools for accurate issue identification.

The successful candidate will work on inspections, reconditioning components, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards. Prior experience with mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics: Use specialized diagnostic testing equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled care including oil changes, fluid checks, tune-ups, and tire rotations.
• Repairs & Replacements: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble worn or damaged parts (brakes, suspensions, transmissions, etc.).
• Quality Control: Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to ensure repairs are safe and effective.
• Workshop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following standard operating procedures.
