Job summary

Robert Bosch Group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for hardware solution products in Penang. You will develop embedded firmware, interact with test systems via Serial, Ethernet, and USB, and collaborate with global teams to achieve robust HW-SW integration.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with embedded firmware development for hardware products.
• Knowledge of RTOS and MCU peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware running on Bosch products.
• Interface with manufacturing and engineering test systems via Serial, Ethernet, and USB.
• Collaborate with global teams in Malaysia and Germany for HW-SW integration.
• Provide post-production and failure analysis support.
• Follow Bosch Software Engineering processes including reviews and tests.
• Create test specs, protocols, and documentation.
