Ansell is looking for an Automation Engineer (AOI) to join our team in Malacca, Malaysia.

In this position you will play a vital role in, complex automation systems to improve existing systems, create new ones, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure top performance and providing user training.

What your role will be?

  • To be aware of the company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy and Environmental Policy.
  • To be aware, committed and responsible towards environmental practices in safeguarding the environment and in compliance to environmental requirement.
  • Designing and developing new automation systems and improvements to existing ones
  • Testing and debugging automation systems to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Conduct validation and risk assessment for Automation system and developing specification and safety protocols for automation system.
  • Integrating automation systems with existing factory hardware/ machine.
  • Update system documentation and create SWI to provide user training.
  • Ensuring all automation activities comply with regulatory standard.
  • Working with other engineer to troubleshoot and improve the process and efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance and system check to ensure functionality.
  • To take an active part in all packing related continuous improvement projects.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Degree in Robotic/ Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics /Computer science/ Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge on automation and robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Software testing and troubleshooting, control systems and AutoCAD
  • Project management skills
