Job Title

Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

System Design and Implementation

Develop and implement automated processes, systems, and workflows for manufacturing, software development, or other operational areas.

Create technical specifications, design documentation, and test plans for automation projects.

Optimization and Troubleshooting: Analyze existing systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automated processes to minimize downtime.

Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align automation strategies with business objectives.

Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.

Continuous Improvement: Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation engineering.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure automation systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for automated systems, including user manuals, maintenance schedules, and change logs.

Research, develop and install automation solutions for machinery or software applications.

Create test automation frameworks for use by developers and QA professionals.

Troubleshoot automation errors and bugs.

Communicate with colleagues to identify areas for automation and optimization.

Code automation programs in C#, Java or Python.

Apply scripting languages to automate tasks in existing systems.

Produce and update documentation for software development projects.

Review and edit code from other engineers or developers.

Job Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electric and Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in automation engineering, system design, and process improvement. Good knowledge on SQL and good skill on scratch system development, integration with MES. Hands-on experience with automation tools, PLC programming, robotics, or similar technologies.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., .Net Core, .Net Framework, C#, Java) and automation software.

Familiarity with industrial control systems, SEC/GEM, SCADA, and IoT technologies.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
