Australia biligual Senior CPA Accountant (Mandarin and English) Remotely

We are seeking a qualified Australian CPA Accountant to support our businesses across both countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for Australia and Malaysia

Manage BAS, GST, and income tax submissions in Australia

Handle SST, corporate tax, and annual filings in Malaysia

Advise on cross-border tax compliance and double taxation relief

Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC (Australia) and LHDN, SSM (Malaysia) regulations

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for directors

Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and save costs

Overseeing cross-border financial operations, advising on cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and corporate structuring

Requirements:

CPA Australia member (or equivalent qualification recognized in Australia )

Minimum 3 years of professional taxation experience in an Australian taxation/accounting company

Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws

Proficient in accounting software, especially Xero, MYOB

Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate remotely

Experience with businesses in property management or short-term rental preferred
