Job summary

CH KOK & ASSOCIATES is seeking a motivated Audit & Tax Assistant to support our growing practice in Malaysia. You will assist in audit assignments, prepare working papers, perform verifications, and help prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.

You will communicate with clients to obtain audit information and supporting documents, while maintaining accuracy and deadlines. Additionally, you will assist with corporate tax compliance, tax computations, and returns,

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in accounting, finance, ACCA or related field.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Willing to learn and able to work independently.
Responsible, hardworking and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist in carrying out audit assignments for companies from various industries.
Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules.
Perform audit procedures and verification of accounting records.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Communicate with clients to obtain audit information and supporting documents.
Assist in corporate tax compliance and preparation of tax computations.
Assist in preparing and submitting corporate tax returns and related tax documents.
Assist with withholding tax, tax estimates and other tax compliance matters.
Liaise with clients to obtain information and documents required for tax compliance.
