Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our audit and assurance team support Forvis Mazars in Singapore. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work papers, document audit findings.
• Preparation and/or review of audit documentation for financial reporting.
• Execute assigned engagement-related tasks in compliance with professional standards.
• Communicate with audit core teams to obtain necessary information on tasks and clarification, if needed, on specific instructions given by audit core teams.
• Provide weekly update on audit status to the audit core teams.
• Deliver high quality and timely work and render support and assistance as and when needed.
• Foster good working relationships, collaborate and support all stakeholders within the audit team.

Requirements

• Minimum “O” level qualification.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years basic accounting background will be preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (word and excel).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak and write Mandarin.
• Possess a positive, pro-active, and helpful attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels with professionalism.
• High level of integrity and ability to manage sensitive information.
• High level of meticulousness and the ability to spot spelling and statistical errors.
• Good vocabulary and command of English.
