Overview

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for clients from a wide range of industries.
  • Oversee audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with professional standards (MPERS, MFRS, ISA).
  • Supervise, coach, and review work of junior staff, providing technical guidance and on-the-job training.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.
  • Work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, and liaise directly with clients on all audit matters.
  • Monitor engagement progress, manage timelines, and resolve technical or client issues proactively.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or with a full or partial professional qualification (ACCA, MICPA, CPA or ICAEW).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant external audit experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Experience in supervising audit staff and managing multiple engagements.
  • Familiar with audit software (aBot / CCH® ProSystem fx® Engagement).
  • Responsible, self-motivated, with strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Possess own transport is an advantage.
