Job summary

UHY in Malaysia invites applications for an Audit Senior / Semi Senior (Mid Valley KL). The role requires carrying out audits per the approved plan and acting as a preparer in the risk-based audit process, with diligence in completing tasks and supporting senior staff in reviewing internal controls.

Applicants should hold a Degree in Accounting or a Professional Accountancy Qualification, with 1–3 years of experience in a professional accounting practice and strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities are essential.
• Demonstrated writing skills for audit documentation and reports.
• Experience working in a professional accounting practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the audit in accordance with the approved audit plan.
• Take on the preparer role of the risk-based audit process.
• Exercise alertness and diligence in completing assigned tasks.
• Provide significant help to seniors to review internal controls and procedures.
• Analyze and evaluate the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures.
• Review, develop and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls of a business.
• Appropriately prepare audit documentation supporting the work performed.
