Audit Associates - Responsibilities
- Identify existing or potential problem areas and non-compliance with established auditing policies, procedures and standards.
- Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
- Accumulate, review and analyze financial and operational data.
- Keep abreast of current developments in accounting, auditing, and internal control.
- Back up on compliance audit and answering inquiries.
Tax Associates - Responsibilities
- Plan tax payments.
- Estimate and track tax returns.
- Complete annual tax reports.
- Set up and update the company\'s tax database.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
- Share financial data with the accounting department.
- Forecast tax predictions to seniors and managers.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or related financial fields.
- Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular).
- Good analytical and time management skills.
- Well versed in company taxation matters.
- Able to work independently and work well under pressure.
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma LCCI/CAT/AAT.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance or accounting-related subject is value-added.
- Professional qualifications - AIA / IPA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA certification is preferred
- Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
- Integrity and reliability.
NOTE: Those without the necessary qualifications but with substantial working experience will also be considered.
