Job description

Perform audit assignments for clients across various industries.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with relevant requirements.

Communicate professionally within the team and with external parties to gather information, resolve issues, and recommend business and process improvements.

Travel to different states within and outside Malaysia for audit engagements.

Collaborate with audit partners and managers to address technical accounting and auditing issues as they arise.

Lead and manage a team of Audit Associates.

Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other documentation prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness.

Perform ad-hoc duties such as financial due diligence and IPO-related activities as necessary.

Job Requirements

Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Banking.

Member of ACCA, MIA, MICPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.

Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional accounting practice.

Knowledge and experience with CCH/Inflo System.

Audit experience in well-established professional services firms is preferred.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, with an emphasis on Mandarin for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
