Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee assurance engagements and lead a team of 12, collaborating with partners and other assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of audit experience along with 2 years in management, preferably with proficiency in Mandarin. This role offers a competitive salary up to RM12,000 along with reimbursement for medical expenses, petrol, and mobile phone. The position is on-site at Pandan Jaya with a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of audit experience in an outsource firm with 2 years of managerial experience.
• Preferably a Mandarin speaker.
• Experience with an established big or mid-tier audit firm background.

Responsibilities

• Manage assurance engagements by creating audit strategies.
• Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan.
• Coach and develop individuals, sharing information and insights.
• Conduct performance reviews with constructive feedback.
• Maintain collaborative ties with other assurance teams.

• Supervise audit engagements and update partners regularly.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage assurance engagements by creating audit strategies with partners and executing them in accordance with firm rules and standards. Lead complicated audit procedures and teams.
• Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan and change it as appropriate.
• Coach and develop individuals by sharing information with team members and assisting them in gaining experiences that promote technical abilities.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and give comments.
• Maintain collaborative ties with other assurance teams.
• Create and sustain long-term, fruitful client connections and networks.
• Collaborate with audit colleagues to identify developing control concerns and promptly report them to the partner.
• Supervise audit engagements and keep partners informed of their status.

Job requirements:

• To guide 12 people with the assistance of 2 Assistant Managers, reporting to Partner (same for both branch)
• Basic salary up to RM12,000 + HP reimbursement RM100 + Petrol reimbursement RM500 + Medical insurance covered
• Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
• No outstation travelling
