Job description

Successful candidates will work under the close supervision of experienced managers and partners and will have ample learning opportunities in the fields of Assurance and Advisory. This is an ideal workplace for candidates intending to pursue accounting professional examinations, as study leave is provided. Additionally, it is suitable for local university graduates seeking practical experience towards Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) membership.

Work Location:

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit & assurance engagements independently, efficiently, and professionally
• Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing audit assignments for manager or partner review, highlighting areas of concern
• Plan, delegate, and lead a team of auditors
• Provide coaching to junior staff members
• Review audit working papers and financial statements to ensure compliance with auditing standards and financial reporting standards
• Liaise with affiliates such as secretaries, tax agents, and bankers
• Coordinate with clients on all aspects of audit assignments
• Fresh graduates and interns are welcome to apply

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or partial professional qualification
• Knowledge of Malaysian reporting standards, Companies Act 2016, and Income Tax Act
• Experience in supervising and coaching junior staff
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Conversational Mandarin is an advantage
• Willingness to travel and ability to work independently
