Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Audit Executive (Junior/Senior) to perform and lead financial audits for local and international clients in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, to obtain sufficient evidence for audit opinions.

The role includes executing audits as planned and communicating issues promptly with the manager/partner, reviewing clients' accounting procedures, and preparing documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with audit tests and financial statements.
• Independent, proactive, flexible, and committed.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead financial audits for local and international clients.
• Execute audits as planned and communicate issues with manager/partner.
• Review client accounting procedures.
• Initiate billing and assist in collections.
• Conduct audit tests and prepare supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Interact with clients and manage field audit approach with Supervisor/Manager.

Audit Executive (Junior/ Senior) - Multiple Positions Available

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing and leading the financial audits of their local and international clients in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, in order to obtain the required evidence to issue an appropriate audit opinion.

To execute the audit as planned and communicate promptly on issues encountered with the manager/partner.

Reviewing of their clients’ accounting procedures.

To initiate the billing process and assist in the collection.

Conducting audit tests.

Reviewing audit documentation and preparation of documentation to support audit jobs.

Preparation of financial statements.

Interacting with their clients and managing the field audit approach together with the Supervisor/Manager.

To train and guide junior staff in understanding procedures, documentation, and compliance matters.

Requirements & Skills

• Must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of CaseWare is considered an asset.
• Prior experience on consolidations is considered an asset.
• Forming part of an audit team the selected candidate must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be independent, proactive, flexible and committed.
• Proficient in English both written and spoken.
• Must have computer literacy in MS Office.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as junior.
