About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Executive to join our dynamic team at SYED & KAMARUDIN ASSOCIATES PLT. As an Audit Executive, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive audits and financial assessments for our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan, manage and lead an audit team to perform and deliver high quality assurance and compliance work for a portfolio of diversified clients.
2. Perform high level review on high risk companies to ensure audit working papers and reports comply with relevant standards and laws.
3. Ensure the work is completed within set timeframes to deliver timely, quality services to clients.
4. Manage client portfolios and maintain good client relationships.
5. Provide guidance and solutions to clients on a consultancy basis.
6. Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
7. Assess compliance with financial regulations by executing audit procedures, testing ledgers, account balances, and examining records and reports.
8. Verify assets and liabilities by comparing documentation and analyzing items and collateral.
9. Complete audit work papers by documenting tests and findings.
10. Communicate audit progress and findings through status meetings, working papers, and final reports.
11. Recommend improvements in management practices, internal controls, and operating processes by identifying root causes.
