KPMG in Malaysia invites applications for an ACT Intern within its Audit Centralization Team. This role provides hands-on exposure to audit workflows, documentation, and data management that support engagement teams in delivering high-quality audits.

As an ACT Intern, you will assist with audit confirmations, roll forward statements, and administrative tasks, working alongside experienced professionals in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders, or undergraduates who have completed at least two years of their degree studies, or candidates pursuing professional qualifications.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Well-organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Able to commit to an internship placement for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Audit Confirmation Support and sending out confirmations, including scanning, splitting, and renaming documents.
• Updating records and monitoring responses from external parties.
• Statutory Audit Support and assisting with minutes, directors’ circular resolutions, and statutory forms retrieval.
• Assisting in preparing roll forward financial statements for the current audit year.
• Data sanitization and reference data management; downloading and organizing PLC announcements and related data.
• Project and administrative support for ongoing audit projects and general duties to support the Audit department.
