Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia is seeking an Audit Assistant to support audit engagements, develop client relationships, and prepare audit working papers. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to standards, and continuous learning in a dynamic auditing environment.

You will assist senior auditors, perform risk analysis, and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy while ensuring compliance with relevant acts and regulations.

Qualifications

• Basic to profound understanding of audit concepts and preparation of audit working papers.
• Ability to identify and report audit issues under supervision.
• Familiarity with auditing standards, MIA by-laws, financial accounting standards, and relevant laws such as the Companies Act and Accountants Act.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and audit team members.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to diverse audit tasks.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia.
